Velator

Finally getting mobile enough to get back to the reserve today, 3 1/2 weeks after hip replacement. My son and daughter were in the reserve yesterday and reported a pair of Swans present on the pond - not seen any for 3 years. Today, a pair of Little Grebes (male trilling) and a smart pair of Mallard. A few Finches and Tits (including a Coal Tit) and a Treecreeper. Reed Bunting and a couple of Redwings flew over, and a Little Egret was with a  few Teal out on the scrape. 2 Kingfishers in the river.
