The Glaucous Gull went east past the Point at dawn, but there was no sign of it anywhere along the front between 10.30 and 13.00.  3.5 hour seawatch was rather slow, returning totals of 9 Red-throated Divers and 11 Common Scoters of note.  There was a noticeable up-channel movement of gulls, with 80 Great Black-backed, 22 Lesser Black-backed and 14 Commons logged, along with a few hundred Herring Gulls.

One that got away was a probable Merlin east over the Point, otherwise 1 Water Pipit still, and 62 Golden Plovers on the airfields.
