Cockwood

 Common Gull

Stood on the steps at Cockwood on a very windy afternoon. Located the Slav Grebe ,for a year tick, bobbing about in the chop by the wrecked boat. Plenty of feeding waders along the shoreline, plus a number of Common Gull and Mergansers. Around 100-150 Brent Geese on the wing over the Estuary, presumably having lifted off from the Golf Course. Wind chill made it impossible to last longer than 30 minutes standing on the steps. We beat a hasty retreat.
