Bowling Green Marsh

The Yellow-Browed Warbler showed brilliantly on top of a bare tree just outside the hide entrance this afternoon, but unfortunately flew up the lane as I alerted others inside the hide, so only glimpses thereafter.  Otherwise, not much of note - at least 20 Snipe, several Stock Dove, perhaps 6 Pintail, but no Pochard, nor any other waders except a solitary Curlew.  But  it was low tide, and whatever is wrong with the sluices causing major flooding on the marsh.
