Roadford Lake

An early morning trip to Roadford definately worth getting out of bed for! This morning we saw our first Smew. Two males and one redhead in creek to left of hide.

Word is out as 3 other birders arived to catch a glimpse of the Smew.

All the usual other delights present including an abundance of Grey Heron, Great Crested Grebe, Teal, Tufted Duck, Widgeon, Golden Eye, Mallard, Coots, Canda Geese and a pairing of Shovelers.

Happy days...
