Berry Head
My first Yellow-browed Warbler of the autumn was in sycamores near the drinking trough on the top NE corner of the meadow, it was being continually chased by the local Chiffchaffs but did it's best to stay in this sunny, warm, still corner.
Of more interest was a very pale, sandy brown Lesser Whitethroat probably of eastern origins, with almost entirely white outermost tail feathers. It was very skulking but did give some good views from time to time. some of the pictures make it look rather pale grey on the upperparts but it was genuinely sandy brown.
