Blackhill Quarry- East Devon
No signs today of the Pallid Harrier seen yesterday morning over the footpath- as reported by Oli Force, Exmouth Community UK, via Facebook. In fact not a lot of birds present today but a Common Sandpiper was good as I have been expecting to find one here for a long time. Also present 2 Little Grebe, 5 Tufted Duck, 1 Cormorant, 2 Moorhen, 4 Mallard, 4 Jay, 3 Meadow Pipit and a Buzzard.
NOTE: there appears to be a recent spate of car breakins at Four Firs Car Park. Do not leave any valuables in your car.
