Paignton coastal & South Brent

At Broadsands, Paignton this afternoon a rather tatty and moth eaten Great Black Back Gull ringed with a white plastic tag ring with P:76B in red, also what I believe to be a 2nd winter Lesser Black Back Gull, one Little Egret, a trickle of Swallows and at one point 41 Carrion Crows on the beach.

Over at Marine Parade, Preston, Paignton seven Sandwich terns, ten plus Turnstone including the Dutch ringed bird, three Oyster Catcher, a Rock Pipit and a very miserable looking Wheatear.

At home Hobby (Don't think it was "my" bird) and a Sparrowhawk being mobbed by corvids, a single Mistle Thrush and a slow but steady passage of House Martin and Swallows.

This evening not less than seven Tawny owls four seen and three calling.
