Torcross Rosy Starling

The reported juvenile Rosy Starling was showing well on a roof top at Torcross this evening, initially flew in as one of a flock of 10 birds and was easy to ID when it flew over at close quarters, by the end of the evening some 400 plus birds were murmarating over the ley and it was difficult to pick it out.

At one point some 300 plus birds on the roof top when flushed by a Sparrow hawk, almost constant passage of Swallows throughout the evening.
