River Dart at Dartington

Sitting hidden on the riverbank below the deer park we watched a pair of Dipper working hard catching  large quantities of Caddisfly larvae.

A family group of five young Goosander appeared swimming upstream fishing as they went.  They all took off when a group of kayakers came downstream and were followed into the air by an adult female who had been hidden under the trees on the far bank.
