Occombe, Paignton

It's been a while since I last visited and now the grass in the orchard has really grown, so much so it was providing excellent feed for a group of Goldfinches. Also observed for quite a while a Kestrel hunting over the field below the orchard. Buzzard being mobbed by a Carrion Crow. Mentioned before about the number of Wrens on site, well this morning I counted 11. There were 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Blackcaps, a Pied Wagtail. Swallow, 2 Jays, Bullfinch. Greenfinch, 2 Song Thrushes, 2 Stock Doves and Long-tailed Tits. Second family of Blue Tits using the nest boxes put up this year.
