Rillage Pt to Watermouth

Extremely quiet this morning. Calm, overcast and misty but hardly a migrant in evidence other than some Linnet flocks (totalling about 50 birds), a (presumed Lesser) Redpoll and a single alba wagtail passing over. Otherwise it was pretty much local breeding birds only, including some by now territorial Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps. The complete absence of hirundines was particularly noticeable, as it was yesterday (12th), when a single Swallow was the only hirundine seen during a whole day spent in foreign parts (!) along the Dart estuary/lower Dart valley.
