Apparently something of a scarcity around the Exe so far this year, 2 Green Sandpipers were showing well on the grass-edged pool (the northern pool)  at Double Locks Wetland early this afternoon. Also 5 Gadwall on the reed-fringed pool and reasonable numbers of Mallard, Teal, Wigeon and Shoveler on site.
