First walk around Sherpa Marsh this spring: 1 Little Egret, 5 Snipe, several each of Teal, Shoveler, and Gadwall, but no migrants. Well, there was a Common Sandpiper on the Caen, along with 2 Greenshank and  4/5 Redshank.

Only the usual suspects in the reserve, but 3 Chiffchaffs shows that migration is under way and a Peacock Butterfly is a first for the year in the reserve.
