Winter Thrushes at East Budleigh

Large numbers of redwing and fieldfare in the fields, trees (and a paddock) at the back of East Budleigh cemetery around lunchtime. Upwards of 200, about 60% redwing. Also single song thrush, mistle thrush and blackbird in the nearest field. Peregrine overhead near Wynards Farm. Male black redstart skipping between the cricket net furthest from the pavilion at Budleigh Salterton and a tree adjacent to the newer cricket nets close to the river path - and a couple of snipe nearby. Three male bullfinches feeding on cherry blossom by the old railway line cycle path just west of the Capel Lane bridge. Several chiffchaff on that path and along the Otter.
