Budleigh Salterton spoonbill

Yesterday afternoon about 4 pm, a Spoonbill flew over as we were walking along the shingle bank at the entrance to the estuary. It appeared to go down to the west of the river, presumably onto one of the flooded fields there. I assume it was the same bird that our friends had seen at Bowling Green Marsh in the morning - they now think Spoonbills are common round here!
