Wembury

A quick wizz round this afternoon: Golden Plover still much in evidence with 75+ still at Down Thomas, 30 over Wembury Point and 2 grounded there. Just a single Lapwing today and only a handful of Skylarks (normally the commonest cold weather immigrant here). Lots and lots of Song Thrushes about including over 30 birds in a stubble field at the point. A few Fieldfares and Redwings too, which have been largely absent since October.
