Out and about

Ludwell Valley
No Dipper seen but 4 Green Sandpiper and 2 Grey Wagtail

Stover County Park
20+ Goodander, 2 Mandarin (M & F), 4 Pochard (2M & 2F). On the feeder was 2 Bullfinch (M & F), a Siskin and 3 Nuthatch.

Exminster Marsh
100’s of Wigeon but could not locate the American. However I did spot the Marsh Harrier on leaving.

Cockwood
Cracking views of Slavonian Grebe and a Great Northern Diver. Also bagged a group of C20 Grey Plover and a single Great Crested Grebe.

Exmouth cricket club
Awesome views of a Firecrest on the path at the rear of the ground.

Road to Hayes pig farm
Went to the farm to see if there were any Partridges in the fields but no joy. It was dusk when I left and was stopped in my tracks when in my headlights I came across a Woodcock feeding on the verge. Managed to stop at close range and watch it for a while before it finally twigged it was being watched and it quickly disappeared into the scrub. Best views I’ve ever had as I normally just see flyovers.
