Late news for yesterday: From Velator harbour a couple of Snipe calling which were put up by a very tatty female Marsh Harrier, which flew over the reserve and then off southwards. Moving on to the river entrance to the field by the reserve, a Peregrine caused consternation amongst the Gulls. In the reserve, 5 Reed Buntings, Water Rail and Kingfisher. Only Green Sandpiper on the scrape.

Just moved house across Braunton and I like my new garden - so far had Green Woodpecker, Jay and Firecrest amongst a few common species. Sorry for the late posting, but no internet yet!
