Totnes Weir (Behind KEVIC's school) Totnes

Only a short visit checking the river 150 yards each side of the weir, Little Grebe in full summer plumage feeding just above the weir, large flock of Long tailed Tits, single Grey Wagtail on wier edge, very confiding Song Thrush along with a partly white male Blackbird, small number of Redwing, one Egret, good mix of the expected birds.

On the way home 100 plus Redwing feeding in the field to the right of the Marley House entrance near South Brent, the male Kestrel on wires over his usual corner field on the Marley Head roundabout.
