Went to Cockwood for a change this lunchtime, From the steps, the resident Slavonian Grebe was fairly close in as well as a few Red-breasted Merganser.

I was amazed to see a Great Northern Diver in Cockwood Harbour though. It was just a few metres from the road at times (sadly no camera). After a few minutes at about 2 o'clock it swam out of the harbour back in to the river. Also in the harbour 1 Greenshank, Turnstones, Redshanks, Oystercatchers, a Curlew and a Black-tailed Godwit.
