Another chestnut crowned Sparrow.

Norman Baldock sent in this picture of a presumed chestnut crowned and whitish cheeked House Sparrow - bearing a resemblance to italiae but it lacks the spit supercilium the possible Italian Sparrow at Budleigh Salterton shows (as do some House Sparrows). The photograph was taken ion 13 March this year in the Newton Abbot area, but the bird had been visiting the garden most of the winter.
