Velator

Windy but surprisingly no rain while I walked around the reserve this morning. No repeat of yesterday's Red Admiral, and no Dragonflies either. Birds were mostly nearby rather than in the reserve: 70+ Godwits on the scrape, 25 very skittish Canada Geese. 3 Little Egrets, and a selection of Ducks. Best was a female Goosander and a Dipper in the stream by the field entrance.
