Start Point

Highlight of the morning an unexpected Spoonbill out at sea, high up  heading north at 07:30. No vis mig as such hardly any Goldfinches and Chaffinches ( the latter really scarce for me so far this autumn ). There were at least 10 Bramblings, 2 Bullfinches and 2 Reed Buntings. Couple of thousand Woodpigeons seen, largest flock 700. Do not think they have a clue what they are doing, a couple flocks c200 each, one going north one south, crashed into each other. Work that one out !
