Lyme Bay boat trip from Brixham

Additional to the species already noted by Nigel, close inspection of photos shows that the first 3 shearwaters we encountered (2 at 09.31, 1 at 09.33) were all Balearic Shearwater. Very hard to distinguish by eye when they are crossing the bow at some distance, and in the sun's glare! Shearwaters further out appear to have all been Manx. The first (distant) skua was definitely an Arctic skua - a dark phase bird. Terrible record shots below - decent photos of the closer birds will follow.
