R.Caen,Horsey Island, Sherpa Marsh

An early start this morning produced the first of 2 Marsh Harriers.

An immature flying SW over the R.Caen searching for prey over Braunton Marshes, the second seen later on (viewed from the Taka trail) was a dark brown adult female searching for prey over the reed beds on Sherpa Marshes. Good views for several minutes. Obvious plumage differences between these 2 birds.

I Green Sandpiper calling from Horsey Island.
