Lyme Bay Boat Trip

A sunny morning sailing out of Brixham with the Plymouth group of DB, forecast warning us of increasing winds. First to Berry Head to see 5 Porpoise and as we moved further out a quick glimpse of a Sunfish. We traveled out to about 5 miles and chummed . The birds seen 20+ Manx Shearwater, 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Arctic Skua, Lesser Black-Backed Gull, Great Black-Backed Gull, Kittiwake, Fulmar, 3 small pale shore birds, Gannet and best of all and views for some time 7 European Storm-Petrel. Interesting to see also 1 Bumble Bee and 2 Red Admiral Butterfly about 1 miles off Berry Head. Returned as the wind freshened and sea got very lumpy!!!
