Taw estuary

Despite the dog-walker traffic, the low tide and the baking sun, at least a dozen Whimbrel really wanted to feed on the dry sand way up the beach near Instow cricket club. In the dunes and fields 3 male Whitethroat in song-flight, several Blackcap and a Sedge Warbler singing, plus plenty of singing Linnet and Swallow.
