Prawle Saturday 15th April
No sign of yesterday's early morning Serin found by Pat M. Seawatch highlights were : 4 Bonxies, 1 Black-Throated Diver, 1 Whimbrel, 9 Sandwich Terns west, 2 East, 7 Common Scoter east, 8 Manx Shearwaters west.
8 Wheatears, 1 Sand Martin , 2 House Martins and (from 12 to 1pm) 70 plus Swallows came in off the sea heading north.2 Willow Warblers singing. (Yesterday Pat M had seen a Whinchat and 3 Whitethroats.)
Of interest still 12 Cattle Egrets in the Chivelstone Cross area near the wind turbine.( 11 captured in the image below)
