Prawle

A nice little seawatch to start the year (08.00 - 10:30), providing both quality and quantity. Final totals; 1 Great Northern Diver, 42 Red-throated Divers (+1 unidentified diver), 240 Gannets, 4 Balearic Shearwaters, 2 Common Scoter, 274 Kittiwakes and just short of 3000 Auks, the balance slightly in favour of Razorbill. (Everything west),

Tramping around in the mud produced 170 Lapwings, Green Sandpiper (over), Woodcock, 2 Med Gulls, Water Pipit (possibly 2) in Horseley Cove, 3 Chiffchaffs (1 grey), and 6 Goldcrests.

(Among my new year resolutions are to try and find time to post more often on this blog, find a first for Britain at Prawle that hangs around, oh, and to lose weight!)
