Torbay Boat Trip.

This mornings boat trip had a mission to see if the Pacific Diver was still about! The answer was no but we did have a good trip and some good sights. Before we had left Brixham harbor 3 Grey seals and 6 Purple Sandpiper. out to Berry Head with over 1,000 Guillemots on the cliffs. 5 Harbour Porpoise and these very close to the boat. Other birds seen on this trip included 11 Common Scoter, approx. 50 Fulmar, Gannets, 3 Great Northern Diver, 6 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Black-necked Grebe and Grey Heron. Some Common Gull and the usual other gulls but one bird missing was the Kittiwake.

Last trip next Sunday but may have one or two trips during March and April before the Lyme Bay trips in July, August and September.
