Velator Reserve
Plenty of signs of spring this morning - first Lesser Celandine in flower, and along with Water Rail and Cetti's Warbler calling, Great Tit, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Song Thrush and Chaffinch all in song.
2 Chiffchaffs chasing insects in the reed-bed just outside the reserve.
2 Spoonbills (one colour-ringed) on the scrape early on.
