North Devon

A run up to North Devon with Keith Male today, Fremington quay was well blessed with waders inc Greenshank, Redshank, Black Tailed Godwits and Common Sandpiper.

The old Fremington Camp turned up a large flock of 500 plus Starlings feeding on blackberries and a flock of 50 plus Goldfinch.

Instow held the largest concentration of Oyster Catcher that I have ever seen, simply hundreds of them, also a small number of Mediterranean and Common Gull, Curlew, Turnstone and Rock Pipit.

Out to Crow Point gave some close up views of two Little  Grebe, Heron and Curlew

On the way home on the M5 North of Junction 30 Keith  had a Red Kite !!!!
