Ring Ouzels ~ South Brent

An early afternoon walk up to the Avon Dam above South Brent gave Great Tit, Robin, Grey Wagtail, Buzzard, Raven, Jay 3, and several Stonechats.

On reaching the old quarry below the dam I got a wave from Dakes Pakes who was tucked away in the undergrowth watching Ring Ouzels feeding on Rowan berries. In total I had 7 sightings while Dave had 9.

Also present in the area were Green and Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Song Thrush, Blackbirds and three Redwings that flew out from the quarry.

On the way home a Kestrel hovering near Harbourne Cross.
