Bowling green marsh

Watched from 08:35 till 14:35

A very good day around the marsh after a week away

From the hide 2 juv  curlew sandpipers among 250+ dunlin, 2 spotted redshank, 2 Pintail, 2 kingfisher, 8+ ringed plover, 6+ whimbrel, 12+ bar tailed godwits, good numbers of redshank , black tailed godwits and curlew, 10+ lapwing, 1 peregrine.

the best was from the viewing platform between 12:00 and 13:50 , with 6+ Osprey it may have been more we had 2 juv's at the north end of the estuary ( 1 was fishing of lympstone then another came down the river clyst and proceed to fish of exton both were successful before flying of ) we had another further down river as we'll , a distant bird over Powderham marsh gaining height and going south was just too far to clinch I'd but everything pointed to another osprey, we then had 4 birds fishing at the same time between starcross and exmouth at the same time my best day on the estuary for Ospreys  .
