Thurlestone (South Huish Marsh)

A mid morning stroll round the marsh produced 1 Spotted Flycatcher, a family group of 2 juvenile and 2 adult Heron, 12 Ringed Plovers, stationery on the drained area, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard being bombed by Swallows and 1 female Wheatear. It was too busy with holidaymakers to stay much longer than an hour or so.
