Thurlestone Bay

Birds on the marshes little change from yesterday. This morning all the activity was in the bay - 11 Ringed Plover on the rocks , Great N Diver and 10 Razorbill on the sea and passage of - 60 Wigeon west in 4 flocks ( still 80 on the marsh ) 7 Common Scoter-e, 2 Teal -w , 2 Shelduck -w ( first since the juv's left in july) 1 Snipe in off ,  1 Brent Goose -w , 1m Red B Merganser -e

This evening at South Milton Ley  the Starling roost was 50,000 +with a Peregrine in attendance.

Bob B ringed 4 more Chiffchaff and had a Siskin over
