Lower Tamar Lake

A lovely sunny walk around the lake produced numerous Willow Warblers, a group of Tufted Ducks, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Reed Buntings, 1 Heron, a pair of courting buzzards one of which was a very pale bird, a female Orange Tip Butterfly, a Tawny Owl calling in the car park. Also of note around the feeders in the car park were 1 Redpoll, 1 Yellowhammer and 2 Willow Tits (?). We noted them calling so assumed not Marsh Tit.
