Bowling green marsh

Watched from 15:00 till 19:00

A nice afternoon around the marsh with 1 spotted redshank now nearly in full summer plumage, 25+ whimbrel, 12+ bar tailed godwits, 10+ greenshanks, 1 grey plover, 2 knot, 22+ dunlin, 150+ black tailed godwits, 80+ curlew, 12+ blackcap,  4 willow warblers,  20+ chiffchaffs  4 Cetti's warblers, 2 sedge warblers, 2 tufted duck , 1 sparrowhawk, 1 peregrine, 10+ buzzards, 6 little egrets, 18+ shovelers, 15+ shelducks, a few swallows and sand martins.

A good find was a curlew with colour rings will send of the details 

Left tarsus had a white ring with BH on, over yellow ring 

Right tarsus had just a green ring 

From the viewing platform 117+ pale bellied Brent geese later they headed past the goatwalk heading north, also 7 great crested grebes.
