A good day around Topsham. Started with my first Sedge & Reed warblers of the year at Highfield Farm (2 of each). A hybrid Herring / Lesser-blacked gull at the rec did a good impression of a Yellow-legged gull, where 27 Dunlin & 2 Ringed plover dropped in.  The Bonaparte's gull flew into the Goatswalk at 3pm before moving onto Bowling Green Marsh for 30 minutes. 103 Oystercatchers & a single Avocet and Spotted redshank were joined by 19 Sandwich terns on the falling tide off the viewing platform.  A Hobby was feeding over Exminster Marshes as viewed from the Goatwalk. 18 Chiffchaff, 10 Blackcap, 4 Willow warblers, 4 Cettis around & about the town.
