Devils Point, Plymouth

Very windy here today, rain on and off affecting visibility.

Four Brent Geese flew across The Sound this morning, heading towards The Cattewater. My second record of this species at D.P. but the first were on the wrong side of the Tamar. So not a D.P. tick but a very welcome Plymouth tick.

Later in the day a Great Northern Diver was seen off Drakes Island as well as two fly-by Common Sands. Otherwise quiet apart from an adult Med. Gull.
