Reed Buntings ~ South Brent

A very good days birding in the garden at South Brent a total of 32 species by the end of the day either in or over the garden.

The high light being not one but two male Reed Buntings the first ones that I have ever recorded here in the garden, last visit was around 4.20pm.

Other species included Buzzard, Sparrow Hawk, Heron, Redwing, Song Thrush, Starling 3, Jay, GSWP, Stock Dove 4, Siskin, Pied Wagtails, Rook, Raven 3, Wren and a Tawny owl calling during the night.

At Forder a Treecreeper this morning, also Mistle Thrush, Redwing, Song Thrush, Sparrow Hawk, Buzzard, Wren and 5 Stock Dove.
