Torbay Boat Trip.

Dull day and windy so we kept to the south side of Torbay ( Brixham Paignton area )  Birds seen this morning. 2 Slavonian Grebe, 3 Black-necked Grebe, 8 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Great Northern Diver, 8 Purple Sandpiper. The Bay was quiet and only 2 Kittiwake and 1 Razorbill, a few Grey Heron in the 7 Quarries area and the usual Cormorants, at this time of year looking great.

In Brixham Harbour area 6 Grey Seals and off Berry Head 3 possible 4 Harbour Porpoise. Approx 500+ Guillemots on the colony seacliff and some flying in and out from the cliffs. Few Gannets off the headland and every so often plunging for food. Generaly a good trip. Guess what after we finished trip the weather impoved and the sun shone!!!!!
