Topsham

Early afternoon the 4 Goldeneye with 2 Red Breasted Mergansers were on the Exe diving around the buoys between goatwalk and the quay but the sun hampered getting photos.

The viewing platform showed large numbers of Grey Plover and Dunlin as with 9-Red Breasted Mergansers and lots of the usual waders on the dropping tide.

As Steve mentioned Bowling Green Marsh was standing room only over the morning high-tide. The usual high numbers of ducks and waders quite flighty at times to include c500-Avocets, 4-Snipe, Spotted Redshank, 8-Pochard, 5-Tufted Duck, 4-Pintail, 2-Gadwall. Always nice to see Avocets in flight.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4TjtDGNv7A
