Broadsands

The bay was quite choppy today so difficult to pick out seabirds but 2 Black-necked Grebes and 1 Great Crested Grebe offshore.

7 Cirl Buntings on seed in back of 2nd car park, also Firecrest in hedge along road about 100m W of entrance to main car park - same place as DN yesterday.

This possible Scandinavian (littoralis) Rock Pipit (well.. 'showing characteristics of'!) was on the pool just behind the beach with two petrosus type Rock Pipits, much whiter below, lacking the olive flanks and chest so streaks look finer and more distinct, white outer tail feathers, stronger supercilium - looking quite Water Pipit like.
