Slapton bridge

Just aftwer lunch time I spotted a marsh harrier heading to the easterly end of the marshes . He came from just to the right of the bridge and momentarily stopped in a large bush. He then headed off behind the foliage. About ten minutes later at the same spot i spotted a Firecrest just to the left of the bridge looking east, he didnt stop long and was quickly gone. Then an eagle eyed birder spotted very close in the bottom of the reed bed a water rail rumaging. it showed well for about 5 minutes before dissapearing back into the reeds.
