ELEPHANT HAWK MOTH

HOPEFULLY I'VE CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED THIS LITTLE FELLOW WHICH I FOUND IN MY CONSERVATORY. MY BOOK SAYS THEY FEED ON FUSCHIAS AND GRAPEVINES, BOTH OF WHICH I HAVE SO COUNT MYSELF VERY PRIVILEDGED. ALSO HAD A DARTER I WAS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THIS WEEK. JUST GOES TO SHOW IF YOU PREPARE A HOME FOR WILDLIFE THEY'LL MOVE IN WITH PLEASURE.
