Ashburton

We have seen what we believe is a Prionus coriarius in our garden three evenings this week. Very impressive.  Never seen one before.

Eds. The Sawyer Beetle - feeds on dead wood and comes to light but they are also active on hot and sunny days and may occur kilometres away from suitable habitat.

Please send any non bird records to the relevant County Recorder or direct to the Devon Biodiversity Records Centre https://www.dbrc.org.uk/wildlife-sightings/
