Aylesbeare Commons RSPB - 29 May
On a very breezy day, were still able to find at least three Dartford Warblers on the heath. Down on the ponds quite an array of insects including Broad-bodied Chasers, Emperors and Beautiful Demoiselles amongst a variety of others we've yet to identify. Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary & Green Hairstreak etc. Several Palmate Newts the males identified by their enlarged webbed hind feet.
