Battery Gardens / Fishcombe Brixham

Large number of Common Dolphin, 50 or 60 at least, chasing shoals of small fish into Brixham harbour this morning. They split into four or more pods.  When most of the excitement was over a few Gannet came in off the harbour entrance to dive.  In Fishcombe a pair of Grey Seal were enjoying some play-fighting and neck biting watched by a Grey Heron and a Kingfisher from the rocks.

Battery Gardens saw 2 Goldcrest, a flock of Long Tailed Tits, 3 Song Thrush, and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. No sign of the 2 Firecrest which were here last week.
